Azure HDInsights Architect Location: Houston Texas Mindtree Contract: 12+ Months Duties and responsibilities: - Assisting in ensuring proper setup and interconnectivity between all systems within the landscape (Including Azure HDInsights and SAP related tools like SAP Data Services and Lumira).
- They can be on call for any issues that may arise during the course of the project.
- Will work with technical architect to develop the security access to HDInsight and tables for this use case.
Skills and experience : - MS Azure Technologies 5+
- Authentication Best Practices
- Landscape Security Planning/Best Practices
- Strong Knowledge of MS HDInsights
- Strong Knowledge Hive and ETL
- Strong Knowledge of Hadoop and HDFS layouts
- Strong Knowledge of Data Factory
- Strong Knowledge of Data Modelling best practices for files and tables in Hadoop
- SAP Lumira connections
- ODBC connections to remote systems
- Understanding Speed in reporting/large datasets
Key attributes: - Interface with customer, PM, 3rd party Azure environment provider and project team. Is responsible for environment delivery
