Responsibilities include:
- 5-7 years’ experience with IBM Cognos at a minimum
- Must have experience with both C10 and C11 suites
- Tools: Report Studio, Framework Manager, Query Studio, Workspace Advanced and Active reports
- Provide technical support to the Cognos report writers
- Strong understanding of Data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and best practices processes.
- Experience with administration, deployment and security setups within Cognos.
- Strong experience in creating Framework models with different layers.
- Strong experience with Report development.
- Hands-on development and implementation of Cognos 10 BI suite of tools.
- Must have strong understanding of DW processes and OLAP concepts, with star schema data models.
- Experience with administration and security setups within Cognos.
- Strong experience in creating OLAP Cubes using Cognos Transformer
- Strong experience in creating Framework models with different layers.
- Strong experience in creating advanced reports in Report Studio and Analysis Studio.
- Experience with building Dashboards and Scorecards.
- Experience and Proficiency in writing Oracle SQL queries.
- Good understanding of Java scripts usage in Cognos.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
