Hi ,   Hope you are doing well.   Reliable Software has an urgent need of Liferay developer for a Contract role with one of our Client in Detroit ,MI   If you are available and interested in this position, then please reply me back with your updated resume.   Title: Liferay Lead Developer Duration : 12+ months Location : Detroit ,MI   Job Overview: As a Lead Liferay Developer, you will provide hands on Liferay DXP experience and technical leadership in our Liferay practice for some of our most complex Liferay projects.  In addition to leading teams you will have the opportunity to provide thought leadership and be a key leader in the growth of our Liferay practice.  Additionally beyond Liferay, you will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs. The Liferay Technical Architect will provide technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. The Senior Technical Architect must have C-level presentation, team management and thought leadership skills.   wn and aggressively drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation. Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains. Lead projects within architecture. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features. Mentor junior team members in Liferay based solutions. Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions. Own development of a few features in every Sprint. Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production. Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks. Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications. Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.   Minimum 5 years experience delivering software engineering projects. Minimum 5 years experience delivering Digital Experience Platform solutions with at least 3 years of hands on Liferay experience. Specific Liferay experience requirements include: Liferay DXP 7.0 experience JSR286 and OSGI development Angular 4 or later development on Liferay Theme creation Experience delivering responsive sites on Liferay using frameworks like bootstrap Nice to have Liferay experience includes Experience with Liferay content and documents Search integration Liferay security Administration and configuration Expericne delivering enterprise technology solutions to production Other important technology experience that is a very strong benefit includes: Modern UI frameworks including Angular or React jQuery, Ajax, JSON Development on cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, GCP etc.) Java Spring framework HTML/CSS Subversion JIRA Demonstrated thought leadership a very strong plus (blogs, forums, speaking engagements, etc.) Fluent and current on Liferay trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction. Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies. Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes. Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents. Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
