Position: Sitecore Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Description: Our client is doing a Sitecore implementation and looking to add a Sitecore Engineer to the group. This person will be deeply involved within the technical requirement gathering sessions in addition to the development piece. Expertise in translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Sitecore platform is a must. Ensuring the technical feasibility of User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) designs align with the middle-tier and backend technologies will be needed.
Required Skills:
· 3+ years of Web Content Management System experience
· 1+ year of recent Sitecore platform experience
· 3+ years' hands-on development experience using .NET (3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5+)
· 2+ years hands-on experience in relational database design and development
· Understanding of object-oriented design principles
· Agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
· Experienced using team collaboration tools/source control programs, preferable GIT
· Experience using Continuous Integration Frameworks
Bonus/Soft Skills:
· SQL Server 2005/2012/2014
· Sitecore Certification on version 8 or later
· Experience with mobile development and/or mobile-first responsive design
· Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
· Experience with MVC
· Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
