Job Description
- Need 9+ Years of experience as a Network Engineer.
- Obtains senior level knowledge and hands on experience with routing protocols, firewalls, B2B tunnels, VLANs and layer2 connectivity.
- Must have advanced skill sets with Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ASA (firepower), Palo Alto firewalls and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Ability to document all aspects of a B2B build to include all dependencies and provide to documents to management and a central repository.
- Identified and remediated B2B, routing and firewall issues
- Provided timely and accurate documentation for B2B migration project.
- Documents network designs for future reference into a centralized storage facility (i.e., SharePoint)
- Build runbooks for each B2B tunnel, preparing for migrations in advance.
- Identifies intricacies of each individual tunnel in-scope for migration and documents
- Utilizes Salesforce to submit, track and close service requests and change requests, adhering to corporate policies
- Establish working relationships with team members and Information Security team
