Job Title: Business Analyst (Pharmaceutical Research)
Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY
Job requirements/Skill Set:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  2. 5+ years’ direct experience working with COTS/SaaS modules in clinical operations, and/or grant/research management in a business analyst/consultant role
  3. Working Knowledge research processes within the pharmaceutical space.
  4. Proven track record leading high-impact global system implementation programs for life sciences as a consultant, business or IT lead and/or business sponsor for COTS/SaaS systems
  5. Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder teams, and ensure delivery and a high degree of satisfaction
  6. Ability and willingness to “roll up your sleeves”, dig into the details and help implement a solution
  7. Ability to quickly understand business requirements
  8. Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, but also as part of a team
  9. Good business judgement, logical problem solving and an excellent eye for detail
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deliverables
  11. Proven track record of meeting project timelines/deliverables and attention to detail, process, deadlines, and quality results
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  13. Ability to present complex configuration design concepts into clear and concise requirements
  14. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must.
  15. Complete remote and onsite client consulting for system functionality.
  16. Commercial Finance experience is a must have.
  17. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a must have.       
 
Must have for this role:

  1. Transform and maintain current and future configuration documents into functional business requirements in cooperation with team members
  2. Assure process compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements including consistent traceability of documents to functional business requirements
  3. Create test cases for use in Quality Assurance testing.
  4. Lead life sciences customers in the rapid configuration and implementation of IT systems
  5. Project management including delivery of required documentation, leading and motivating customer cross-functional teams, and project task tracking
  6. Excellent planning, communication, documentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with minimal direction, with a keen ability to leverage business-sense to guide decision making.
