Position 1: Cognos Developer (9+ Years Exp)
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Duration: 4 to 6 Months Contract
Interview: Phone and Skype
 

• Minimum 9+ Year of experience in IT/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence
• 4-5 years of Proven Cognos Report Development experience
• Strong skills in Data Analysis where the candidate can take the needs of the client and analyze/secure data sources and gain the customer acceptance of proceeding to development or problem resolution
• Data Profiling and Reporting is expected
• Proven Relationship Database experience with SQL development and SQL Report writing; Stored procedures and database tuning are a plus
• Software Development experience is preferable with an Object-oriented language (Java, Ruby, C++) that integrated to Databases

 
Position 2: Java Developer with XML Exp
Location: Princeton, NJ/ Dallas, TX (For Dallas location H1B is not acceptable)
Duration: 6 months to start (with strong potential to go longer)
Interview: Phone and F2F (Candidates must be able to do in person interview after a phone interview)
 
The Software Java Developer develops strategic solutions for new services and functionality. This role designs software and participates in programming, testing and documentation through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Timely and effective communications to the team, organization and outside vendors are regularly disseminated as part of this job function.
 

• Heavy XML technologies knowledge.
• Hands on experience in writing complex XSLTs, working with XPATH, XQuery and XML Schema (A thorough knowledge of schema is required)
• Understanding of QTI specifications (QTI 2.1, 2.2 etc.) – (Strongly Desirable)
• Java J2EE; Hibernate Spring, and SQL a must
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF/Seam, Spring MVC)
• Develop appropriate software solutions to requests for new services and functionality
• Develop detailed specifications, application coding, unit and systems testing for the IT department
• Examine, devise and modify procedures to solve moderately complex problems in regard to existing system capabilities, operating time or the form of desired results
• Work with units throughout to ensure smooth delivery of existing services and program modifications
• Support the planning and training of internal clients when new applications are launched or new processes are put in place
• Provide peer leadership and collaborate with Leads, team members and other development staff
• Conduct project tracking activity and walk throughs of software code to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
• Work with development team on implementation of new technologies
• Independently develops software, codes, tests and debugs
