SAP APO – Support
Location- Sunnyvale, CA
Min 7 to 8 years SAP experience and at least 5 years in SAP APO support.
Strong English language communication.
1) Technical Expertise: Good SAP APO knowledge with basic ABAP debugging skill preferably in a Hi-Tech industry. Expertise in DP/SNP and basic knowledge on GATP expected. Working knowledge of ECC/BW is required.
2) Prior Support experience in a large engagement with onsite/offshore model with Client facing experience is expected
3) Troubleshooting / Configuration skills with strict adherence to timelines. Should have already worked in an onsite/offshore model. Expected to be open to work on weekends in shifts when needed. We expect this to happen once a month for which the consultant can take off during the weekday.
4) Role involves resolving Production Support issues in stipulated SLA timeframe.
5) Identify and perform Root cause analysis and take up initiatives to bring benefits in terms of Incident reduction, process improvements or effort saving.
6) Open to explore for solutions or ideas by stretching out of the normal SAP borders and looking various avenues like SAP notes and other means so that an extra mile could be reached.
7) Soft Skills : Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude to learn quickly, motivated self-starter, Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills. Able to understand and adhere to change management procedures and internal guidelines
SAP MM
- 6+ years of experience with SAP and at least 3+ years with full cycle SAP implementation preferably for US companies.
- Specialized in design and configuration of SAP CRM Sales, Service and Marketing module.
- Functional experience in CRM Middleware,Campaigns,E-Commerce and Returns
- Understanding of CRM Architecture,CRM-ECC Integration and data exchange between other non-SAP Systems, Workflow management, Product Catalogs and Segmentation and Target Groups.
- Ability to read & understand ABAP code with basic debugging skills
- Experience working in large support engagements, Support pack upgrades, Enhancement pack upgrades for SAP CRM preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to playback designs and system developments to an audience of business users
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
CPS (SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood)
• At least 7-8 years of experience with CPS including the new BPA version ( preferable v9 )
• Specialized in design and configure the CPS objects Time windows,Submit frames,Application area
• Experience in understanding the SAP and non SAP Jobs functionlity and setup
• Experience in CPS and Target System setup, configuration of Process Servers,Queues
• Experience in handling the CPS Administration activities including Registry entries, CPS object parameters
• Experience in the CPS system administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in the CPS Job Migration activity and the new job setup based on requirements
• Experience in handling the DR activities and Planned/Unplanned downtime activities
• Experience with the CPS script and Triggers
• Experience in Setting up CPS job alerts setup
• Expertise in creating and managing the SAP Incident messages and OSS notes
• Understanding the SAP and non SAP jobs requiremnets
• Experience in handling day to day CPS system monitoring and Production and non Prod issues
• Understanding the Inter system dependent jobs and setup based on critical dependent requirements
• Knowledge of function/technical understanding of the Jobs behavior
• Experience in working with multiple teams Basis,Security,SAP production support, operations etc.,
• Experience in handling the Tickets and coordinate with various team to analyze the issues
• Working with business users to understand the requirement and troubleshoot the same
• Experience in handling the CPS Training sessions to various teams
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
