Opportunities:
· SQL Database Administrator, or Architect
o Need to be able to make sense of Azure; and have an understanding of AWS
o Have multiple instances of SQL
o Everything is 100% On Prem Software (Cold Fusion; no). No vision on what they are going to do with data.
o Sort out what they have in jobs (oddities; all of their info is on AS/400 [DB2])
· Any type of applications, pulled from the DB2 side
· SQL DBA will have to oversee that
o Will they upgrade? They are looking for a Developer (streamlined)
o Physical - Virtual - SQL 2008
o Want to move into Azure
o SQL as a Service (trimming infrastructure 30%)
· Databases that support applications:
o Moving to other cloud platforms (if they had the resource now: start immediately)
o Zero cloud now:
· Access what they have
- Environment:
- Dynamics CRM
- Power BI
- SharePoint
- Adobe ColdFusion
- AS/400
