Spark/Scala Developer

Position: Spark/Big Data Developer
Location: Bay Area, CA
 
 
Must have solid experience on Spark, Scala and Cassandra.
 
Job Descriptions:
·       We are looking for a consultant to engage very quickly (as soon as possible) in the Bay Area The skills we need for this consultant are:
·       Spark: must know the API in and out. help optimize spark code
·       Java: expected to be comfortable when reading and writing java code, commit changes and branching versions in git
·       DSE: all Spark jobs interact with DSE Cassandra. The developer might not be required to know about data modeling techniques or operations best practices but shall master all the basics.
