Title    : Sr. Data Analyst/Business Analyst Location : Deerfield Beach, Florida Description:  Elicit, understand, interpret and represent business requirements for data, information delivery and analytics, data integration, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance  Act as the conduit between the customer and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood  Understand source systems and its data models  Work with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications  Validate that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreements  Develop source to target mappings for data lineage  Analyze data to validate business domains and requirements  Conduct data profiling and ensure data quality requirements are accurate and complete  Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure high quality deliverables  Coordinate prototype reviews  Partner with management and business units on innovative ways to successfully utilize data and related tools to advance business objectives  Provide technical guidance and mentoring to business and data analysts  Execute and promote data management strategy  Work with Quality Assurance teams in defining the QA strategy, test plans and use cases to validate data  Communicate planned and unplanned activities to appropriate parties as needed Position Requirements:  Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies  Knowledge of data integration and data warehousing concepts for advancing business insights and data driven decisions  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity  Excellent written and oral communication, as well as, strong organizational and presentation skills  Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment Strong facilitation and meeting management skills  Working knowledge of project management principles a plus  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within and between individuals and cross-functional teams  Solid understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities  Strong customer service orientation  Ability to understand the unique needs of the customer and translate to actionable results while delivering high quality outcomes  Ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams to drive mutually beneficial outcomes  High achievement orientation with a willingness to learn  Strong desire to understand the organization, its industry, and its strategies  Skillful at applying business and technical skills to drive innovation and performance improvement  Understands and demonstrates the company’s core values of Communication, Consideration, Cooperation, Accountability and Innovation  Minimal travel as needed Technology/Application Requirements:  7+ years experience working as a BI analyst or data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment  5-7+ years hands-on experience working with SQL with an understanding of different data structures (flat files and RDMS)  3+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques  Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing and data conversion process and/or tools  Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similar BI tool  Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other RDMS Thanks&regards, Satish satish@rnritsolutions.com Ph : 214 556-4206.
