Title: QA Lead (Data and BI)

Location: Purchase, NY

6 Months

 

BFSI Domain Preferred 

 

MTM SSRS SSIS SSAS SQL Server DWH. Communication skills Client handling. Main areas of responsibility:

Perform hands on data and report testing

Coordinate testing for projects and releases with the QA team and the release manager/project manager

Review quality of testing deliverables and test results ensure appropriate test coverage for all projects and support items

Work with Project and Release Managers to provide QA estimates based on capacity

Attend Project and Release Meetings to provide weekly status and progress updates

Work with BAs to clarify requirements and draft test scripts 

Work with Developers to communicate test findings

Work with development to coordinate QA drops for testing

 

Qualifications Skills and Experience:

Experience Required: 

7+ years in QA 

2+ years managing QA offshore resources 

3+ BI related work experience. Familiarity with development methodologies 

3+ years working with T-SQL

2+ years working with MS Products (MTM SSRS SSIS SSAS SQL Server)

2+ years Familiarity with Data Warehouse Testing / Data Validation 

Can work with Structured and Unstructured Test case scenarios
