Position:         Oracle/PL/SQL Developer with Git experience

Location:        Owings Mills, MD

Duration:        This will be a 1 year contract to begin with possibility of extension after

Interview:       They will be conducting a phone interview and then Webex video

 

This is for a Solutions Consultant position. They are looking for someone with Oracle DB experience, proficiency in PL/SQL, Java experience, GitHub/Lab experience.

 

JD:

The GBS Investments Solutions Consultant possessing strong business acumen (process & data/information) coupled with strong system application knowledge performs with minimal direction a variety of roles in the creation and maintenance of large enterprise wide/global complex solutions (including data infrastructure, reporting, automation and applications) that address the informational and analytical needs of the Investment Management, Investment Research, Global Trading, or Global Investment and Institutional Client Services (GICS) divisions. These roles stem from all phases of the project lifecycle and include research, requirements gathering, solution design, solution recommendation, application development, and system testing. The Solutions Consultant acts as a consultant and partner with the Investment Business Community, Global Investment and Institutional Client Services (GICS), and Global Business Solutions and Technology (GBS&T) project teams to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and executed upon.

 

Additional Job Details:                                   

Required Skills: 1. Oracle DB Experience (proficient in PL-SQL) 2. Java Experience 3. Experience with GitHub or GitLab Preferred: 1. Possess an understanding of Mutual Fund Accounting business/industry knowledge 2. Experience with database performance tuning 3. UNIX/ Autosys/ Server Scheduling knowledge This individual will be supporting database development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience in an analytical position involving data management and collection, modeling and interpretation across complex data sets. While in this role, candidate will use DbVisualizer, Microsoft Office, and GitLab among others. Position is part of a database development team. Individual must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. This project demands a fast paced development cycle with an individual who at times will need to manage multiple tasks and escalate any issues/needs dealing with prioritization of work.
