Role: Big Data Developer Location: New Jersey Duration: Long Term Required Skills: ·       Strong experience/exposure across the entire data landscape with the ability to extend traditional data architecture techniques to include big data components. ·       Data Strategy and Architecture development, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Metadata management, Data Integration/ingestion, Data Quality management, Data modeling, Data warehousing, Business Intelligence and advanced Analytics ·       8+ year in depth knowledge & experience in Hadoop around all the Hadoop ecosystem ( M/R, Hive, pig, Spark/scala, kafka, Hbase, Elastic search and log stash a plus) ·       4+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix ·       Demonstrated hands-on experience with at-least one of the major Hadoop distributions ·       Good understanding & experience with Performance and Performance tuning for complex S/W projects mainly around large scale and low latency. ·       Experience with leading Design & Architecture AWS Cloud Experience: ·       Designing, building and operationalizing large scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of AWS data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties - Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Snowflake etc. ·       Hands-on experience analyzing, re-architecting and re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on AWS cloud using AWS/3rd party services. ·       designing and building production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala etc. ·       Architecting and implementing next generation data and analytics platforms on AWS cloud. ·       Designing and implementing data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on AWS cloud using AWS native or custom programming. ·       Experience in performing detail assessments of current state data platforms and creating an appropriate transition path to AWS cloud. ·       Hands-on AWS experience with experience in solutions designed and implemented at production scale. ·       Hadoop/Java certifications is a plus. ·       Excellent communication skills. ·       Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. ·       Ability to identify and articulate domain specific use cases that can take advantage of big data tools and technologies ·       Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision in a team setting and dynamic environment Thanks, Saurabh Mishra | VBeyond Corporation 678-606-9824 Ext-215
