Position: SAS Consultant

Location: Madison, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview: Phone and Skype

 

Job Description :-

• SAS Migration (From  Unix to Linux) Consultant  with Clinical Pharma Experience
• Have working knowledge in all aspects of SAS application.
• Consultant must have SAS application and data migration (Unix/Linux based) experience in a multi-platform environment.
• Should be able to independently work on SAS cross platform migration activities and coordinate business requirement and joint application development sessions/meetings to inform migration options and pathways. 
• Strong knowledge and experience in Unix, Linux and related SAS command line options on Unix and Linux.
• Unix shell scripting experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in upgrading SAS is desired. Will work on SAS upgrade from 9.3 to SAS 9.4 on a Linux environment and version upgrades of both server and client components.
• Ability to interface with all aspects of an IT infrastructure especially as it pertains to setting best practices, making recommendations and working with SAS to make it fit with existing IT rules.
• Knowledge of change management procedure and version control for SAS codes.
• Document business requirements with technical project manager and application programmers to ensure clarity in implementation of technical design.
