Title : Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: 1+year

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Site Reliability (DevOps) Engineer to provide technical expertise and support on projects and will be responsible for all phases of DevOps and the Key Principles of CI/CD. This is a hands-on position with experience in continuous integration and deployment as well as standardization of processes and assets between Dev and Ops.  In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position will have responsibility over the maintenance and improvement of existing infrastructure. The position will also provide technical leadership, research and implementation of new technologies, while having primary responsibility over the maintenance and improvement of existing infrastructure.

Required Skills:

·         DevOps experience

·         Site Reliability Engineer experience

·         Intermediate knowledge of CI/CD Infrastructure within Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)

·         Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems.

·         MUST have experience with Redis, Docker, Consule and Vault

·         Experience with SALT, Puppet and Chef

·         Advanced experience deploying and maintaining multi-container application

·         Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby etc.)

·         Advanced understanding of networking concepts and design (e.g. TCP/IP stack, Sub-netting, VLANS, DNS, DHCP).

·         Automate hand-offs/promotions to increase velocity through the different stages

Bonus Skills/Soft Skills:

·         Be able to be a mentor and coach

·         Take Initiative

·         Be able to help a team see and learn the benefits to CI/CD

·         Candidate will be on a revolving ON-CALL Schedule.

·         Will have to work some weekends and nights.

 

 

 

Title : Python/Django

Location: Dallas Downtown

Duration: Long term

 

Locals and In-person mandatory.

 

Qualified candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree or equal years (5+) work experience as a Django/Python developer. Back-end open source web application developer with the following skills: PostgreSQL, Web Services / RESTful APIs • GIT/VCS. Other nice to have skills: Data integration development, Golang, Jenkins, Docker, other open source technologies. Agile Methodology experience a must. Experience supporting internal users on a global basis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.

 

Responsibilities:

Back-end Django/Python Software Engineer. Under broad direction and supervision, develops, maintains, and enhances client systems as well as designs and develops new features. Develops, maintains, enhances, and tests client systems of moderate to high complexity. Serves as the primary technical point of contact on client engagements of moderate to high complexity and of high value to the organization. Involved with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment. Under broad direction, designs and implements strategic partner integrations. Participates in the specification and design of new features at client or business request.
