Position	:	Big Data Engineer
Location	:	Richmond, VA.
Interview	:	Phone then Skype
Duration	:	12+ Months Contract
Max Rate	:	$45/Hour on C2C

Job Description:-

 

• Experience in Python, ETL, mapreduce (spark or hadoop), pyspark, AWS, SQL and NoSQL, and database design.

• Strong experience using AWS and developing applications that run in the cloud.

• Familiar with code complexity and efficient algorithm design.

• Ensures code is compliant and adheres to the company’s code quality standards.

• Expert knowledge in object-oriented design.

• Experienced using TDD and is able to use unit tests and mocks to deliver quality code.

• Very experienced using software development tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins.

• Able to work as part of an agile scrum team.

• Requires a bachelor's degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty and 3-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
