Role: Shell Scripter

Location: Richardson, TX

Duration: 6+Months

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description This person will largely be supporting application Teams adoption of UFM "Universal File Mover". UFM is provided by the Messaging Team but owned by the application Team and requires some level of customization though this could mostly be in the configurations but could be in pre or post processing scripting. Further, UFM can be deployed on Linux or Windows. To Accomplish this, Core skills are: • Linux/Unix • Shell Scripting • Understanding of File Transfers and experience managing File Transfer jobs. Very nice to have: • Powershell Scripting • Familiarity with MQ • Familiarity with IBM's MFT Solution Nice to Have: • Java Of course, Critical Thinking skills and Communication are always needed.
