Job Description

• Senior Network Engineering resource, with 5-10+ years of advanced networking experience and capable of mentoring US-based network engineers

• Software-defined, multi-tenant data center networking (specifically Cisco ACI version 3.x)

• Software-defined (multiple distinct business entities) wide-area networking (specifically VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud versions 3.2.x and above)

• Network architecture design, planning, and deployment expertise – must be capable of translating high-level logical designs into detailed logical and detailed physical designs – and must be skilled at presenting detailed designs in summary form to management, and collaboratively reviewing his/her work with other engineers

• Proficient in (legacy) Cisco Nexus 3-tier data center architecture as well as (modern) Cisco ACI leaf-and-spine architecture

• Must have experience in providing data center networking services and collaborating with systems engineering team(s) on virtual compute/storage integration (specifically VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, and VMware Horizon virtual desktop platforms)

• Palo Alto Networks firewall and Panorama centralized management experience is a definite plus (in our enterprise, this includes firewalls ranging from PA-2xx to PA-5xxx models running PAN-OS 8.1 or higher)

• Campus to small office LAN and wireless LAN skills are a definite plus (typically engineered with Cisco Catalyst and/or Cisco Meraki LAN equipment and Cisco Aironet WLAN controllers and access points and/or Cisco Meraki WLAN access points)

• Experience supporting/maintaining/enhancing Cisco ISE is a definite plus (network access control)
