Job Description

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst / Technical Product Owner with expertise in Payments, Banking, and AI-assisted code analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to analyze existing applications, understand business logic, and leverage GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, or similar AI tools to accelerate requirement gathering, code comprehension, and technical documentation.

This role requires a strong blend of technical analysis, API integration, Agile delivery, and AI-assisted software analysis rather than hands-on software development.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing application codebases using GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI tools to understand business functionality and technical workflows.
• Translate complex code into clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define product requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, Confluence pages, process flows, sequence diagrams, and API documentation.
• Perform business process analysis and identify enhancement opportunities using AI-assisted insights.
• Analyze REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Work with engineering teams to understand application architecture and data flow.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate production support, defect triage, release planning, and change management activities.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and support business reporting when required.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams.

 

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Product Owner, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or AI-assisted development tools for code understanding or documentation.
• Strong experience analyzing existing applications and legacy codebases.
