Job Description

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with AI exposure to join a high-performing development team supporting Morgan Stanley. This is a backfill position requiring strong hands-on experience in modern .NET technologies along with practical knowledge of AI integration and AI-assisted development. Prior experience in the financial services/banking domain is highly preferred.

 

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C#
• Extensive experience in ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Frontend development experience with Angular
• Experience building and consuming RESTful Web APIs
• Strong understanding of JSON/XML data formats
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control
• Experience working in the Banking/Financial Services industry
• Working knowledge of AI integration within applications
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot)
• Exposure to cloud-based application development (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

 

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes
• OpenShift
• OpenAI APIs
• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• GitHub Copilot
• Prompt Engineering
• Azure OpenAI or similar AI services

 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop and enhance REST APIs and backend services.
• Build responsive UI components using Angular.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications where applicable.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Follow best practices for secure, scalable, and high-quality software development.

 

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in .NET application development.
• Strong coding expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Angular.
• Experience with enterprise-scale application development.
• Financial/Banking domain experience is required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to attend an in-person final interview in NYC.
