Position: Power Apps Developer

Location: Menlo Park, CA - Local

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and support business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integrations to build scalable enterprise solutions that improve business processes and productivity.  Senior Power Platform Developer specializing in enterprise-scale integrations serves as a technical authority who bridges low-code capabilities with sophisticated "pro-code" extensions.

Role Overview: You will building high-performance solutions that centralize business operations within Microsoft Teams channel and Outlook Mailbox, leveraging Dynamics 365 as a core skills. This role focuses on high-impact automation, advanced AI-driven workflows, and complex API-led connectivity with Dataverse Data Managements. Also integrate with On Prem API / Apps AI Agents via Custom Connectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps)
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and other enterprise systems
• Create and manage data models using Microsoft Dataverse
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop custom connectors and APIs where required
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing Power Platform applications

• Power Platform Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Product Deep-Dive: Deep experience with Dynamics 365 modules and M365 services (Teams/Outlook integration).
• AI Specialization: Proficiency in AI Builder (prompt engineering, Email/Teams  processing Using Email) and building custom AI agents.
• Integration Stack: Advanced JSON, RESTful APIs, Azure-based integrations (Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and On prem API / App AI Agents using Custom Connectors .
• Development Tools: Experience with Software Development Lifecycle / Application Lifecycle Management (SDLC/ALM) using Power Platform Build Tools and Git/Azure DevOps. 
• Good Understanding of best practices, coding standards, Reusability and optimization based model app Driven Solutions development using Power Apps.

• Ensure application security, governance, and compliance standards are followed
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
• Support production deployments and resolve application issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Dataverse
• SharePoint Online
• Microsoft 365
• Experience with:
• REST APIs
• JSON
• JavaScript
• HTML/CSS
• SQL
• Knowledge of Azure services and integrations
• Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years of software development, with at least 3+ years specifically in Senior Power Platform/Dynamics 365 roles.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred:
• PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate (Required).
• PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect (Highly Preferred). 

• PL-100
• PL-200
• Experience with Dynamics 365 integrations
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and dashboards
• Experience working in enterprise environments

• AI Builder experience
• Copilot Studio knowledge
• CI/CD pipeline implementation for Power Platform
