Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with strong GitOps expertise to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture strategy, infrastructure automation, CI/CD modernization, and GitOps-driven deployment practices across enterprise environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud architectures following best practices and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Lead adoption of GitOps methodologies for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Implement automated deployment workflows using Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Integrate GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Flux, or similar platforms.
• Design secure cloud environments incorporating identity, networking, and governance controls.
• Build automated monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Azure-native tools.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of Azure resources.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to enable continuous delivery.
• Establish cloud governance, policy enforcement, and compliance frameworks.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 14+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Azure Cloud Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Azure Networking & Security
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Azure Storage & Compute services
• Deep expertise in GitOps principles and implementation.
• Experience with GitOps tools:
• Argo CD
• Flux CD
• GitHub / GitLab workflows
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Terraform
• Bicep
• ARM Templates
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Experience implementing cloud security, RBAC, and policy governance.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
