Role: Data Migration Product Manager (20756-1)

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

A Data Migration Product Manager who has hands-on experience migrating CRM data from Salesforce to Dynamics 365 — not theoretical, not adjacent, but real project experience.

 

Absolute Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

• Direct Salesforce → Dynamics migration experience
• Strong understanding of data models, mappings, transformations
• Ability to interpret migration errors and perform basic data troubleshooting (SQL or equivalent)
• Proactive problem-solver, not just a coordinator
• Strong communication skills to work with Engineering (India) + Business Ops stakeholders
• Must be willing to work ONSITE in San Jose 3 days/week

. What This Role Actually Does

• Supports data migration dry runs + production loads
• Receives error logs → analyzes what failed, why, and business impact
• Pulls the right SMEs together and drives decisions on fixes or acceptable exceptions
• Works in war-room mode with onshore + offshore teams
• Helps refine mapping issues, transformations, missed values, etc.

What This Person Is NOT

• Not a mere meeting scheduler or project coordinator
• Not someone who only knows Salesforce or only Dynamics — they need BOTH
• Not someone without hands-on data handling

Preferred Background

• 5+ years' experience 
• Experience in large-scale enterprise CRM migrations
• Someone who has done reconciliation, validation, and issue triage
