Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development professional with a strong background in Oracle DBA and BigData Solutions Architecture. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing robust database solutions that leverage Big Data technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle databases, data modeling, and the ability to architect scalable solutions that meet business needs.

 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions.
• Oracle DBA, with expertise in PL/SQL
• Experience in cloud DB like postgress and Mongo DB
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Architect and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Monitor and maintain database performance, security, and availability.
• Implement data governance and data quality measures to ensure data integrity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle DBA, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Proven experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with NoSQL databases and data lakes.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications in Oracle DBA or Big Data technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on database solutions.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
