Job Description:

Responsibilities and duties:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data-driven business objectives.

Skills and qualifications:

• 7-8 Years of experience in MS SQL server / database technology and at-least 5 years of experience in Snowflake platform
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with ETL processes
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Dynamic tables, Data Masking, External Tables, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, etc.
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
• Experience in performance tuning, optimizing large complicated SQL statements and cost optimization in Snowflake platform
• Proficient in handling semi structured data in Snowflake
• Experience in SSIS package development
• Experience with data modeling, data migration and cloud computing environments [Azure]
• Proficient understanding of ADO, GIT
• Understanding of data compliance and security best practices
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Experience in Snowpark, Python and ML programming is a plus
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
