The client is looking for candidates only for In person interview.
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to build robust automation frameworks and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and other related technologies (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Test Script Creation: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for end-to-end testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure alignment on testing requirements and test coverage.
Bug Identification: Identify, report, and track defects through issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Test Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution.
Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that automated tests are run as part of the build and deployment processes.
Test Environment Management: Set up, configure, and maintain test environments to ensure accurate and reliable test execution.
Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and automation frameworks. Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in QA automation and Playwright. Continuously enhance and optimize the automation process.

Qualifications:
Experience: [3-5]+ years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Playwright.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using Playwright and related technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript). Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
Programming Languages: Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with Python, Java, or other programming languages is a plus.
Testing Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
Tools: Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git), issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and test management tools.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing principles and practices.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in QA, automation, or Playwright.
