Job Description -
Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) Administrator
o Administer BOE (application configuration, health checks, installation, upgrades, functional testing, troubleshooting, business continuity, password cycling).
o Anticipate and manage BOE projects resulting from systemic projects (e.g., IMSWEST to CORP migration, network separation, SYBRPT).
o Create and maintain technical documentation (SOPs).
o Provide metadata reports to assist users in maintaining documents and schedules.
o Liaise with vendor as necessary for support, documentation, guidance, and troubleshooting.
o Perform user- or developer-requested BOE universe changes.
o Maintain user logins (licenses, transfers, user terminations).
o Guide users as the users create, modify, and schedule the BOE documents.
o Review BOE documents for potential database issues before publishing (move to Public).
