Role: - Azure Cloud Security Consultant – L3 (Only USC or GC)
Location: -  REMOTE IN USA – MUST WORK AS PER CST Times – from 8 AM CST (Occasional travel to client site as needed)
Rate :  $60/hr

 

Years of Experience

·        5+ years of relevant information security and information risk management experience ·        3+ years of relevant experience in Azure cloud security.

General Description

·        Develop, implement, monitor, and enhance security across all layers (E.g. Perimeter, Infra, Data, Logging etc.) policies, procedures, and standards. ·        Implement security safeguards and controls are in-line with security policy and standards. ·        Review infrastructure design on-premises and on the Cloud (inclusive of container security architecture, data security architecture, network security architecture, and operational security architecture) ·        Review the infrastructure against different security regulatory, industry, and internal standards such as NIST, CSA Cloud Security guidelines, and identify the necessary security architecture requirements. ·        Executing on Cloud security engagements during different phases of the lifecycle – assess, design, and implementation. Implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and Cloud security ·        Create technical and managerial level reports. ·        Provide IT and business resources guidance in interpreting security compliance requirements and performing application and system security assessments. ·        Experience implementing and/or supporting a large-scale corporate enterprise solution

Technical Requirements

·        Strong experience in Azure Cloud Security Architecture (e.g.: Tenant Security, NSG's/ASG's, Secured Routing, Application Gateway & WAF, Security Groups and VNET Segmentations, Security Analytics, Native Logging, etc.) ·        Experience with internal and external audits. ·        Security systems such as PKI/Encryption technology, Firewall/IPS, WAF etc. ·        Understanding of Infrastructure as a Service, Infrastructure as Code, and related concepts on Azure Cloud ·        Knowledge of OWASP, NIST, or other security-related frameworks and penetration testing methodologies ·        Knowledge of configuration management technologies (i.e., Chef, Puppet), Infrastructure Automation Technologies (i.e., Terraform).

Soft Skills

·        Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English ·        Ability to present solutions to clients remotely and in person if needed. ·        Good documentation skills that will enable creation of design documents for the technical solutions proposed. ·        Excellent problem-solving skills ·        Good collaboration skills in working with virtual and distributed teams

Certifications

·        Professional certification(s) related to Cloud security. ·        Information risk management such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC. ·        Azure Security Certified Preferable.

Educational Qualifications

·        University degree in IT or/and IT Security
