Role Description:
• Atleast 10-15 years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development, and implementation of various SAP Data Warehousing projects (SAP BW, SAP HANA, Datasphere/DWC/BW Bridge).• Strong experience in documenting business requirements, functional, technical specifications, and test cases.
• Capable of Leading a team of 8-10 developers as well as working as a Team Member with minimum supervision.
• Flexible to adapt to any new environment with a strong desire to keep pace with latest technologies.
• Enterprising / Innovative and creative with Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with end-users, managers, and technical personnel with ability to handle and advise client confidently.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in SAP BI /HANA technologies, with at least 2-3 years in SAP Datasphere/DWC.
• Work on development/maintenance of DWC Models, CDS Views, SQL Scripts SAC Stories
• Should have experience in building complex models in SAP Datasphere/ DWC and migration Shell/Remote script using BW bridge.
• Experience in SAP BTP for BW - CDS View, Routines, Functional Modules, User Exits, BadI implementation, etc.
Understanding in S/4 HANA embedded analytics.
• Good exposure to BI/SAC reporting - ADSO, Composite Provider, ODP BW Extractors, Open ODS View, BW Query, Webi, etc.
• Good knowledge on SAP Datasphere - Tables, Views, Intelligent Lookup, Data Flow, Task Chain, etc.
• Strong Analytics/Data warehouse experience in complex environments building end to end Analytics solution using SAP BW and SAP HANA modelling where consuming data from extraction using BODS/SLT from both SAP and Non-SAP sources.
• Experience in supporting SAP BW on HANA specific modelling like using LSA++, Composite Providers and exposing BW objects in HANA Views, Advanced DSO etc.
• Expertise in BW modelling, generic and standard extractors
• Hands on in ABAP for BW – expert understanding of all kinds of routines.
• Expert in BEx reporting, (Variables, CKF, RKF, custom variables etc.)
• Strong reporting knowledge using Analytical tools like SAC, Power BI, BOBJ etc.
• Strong SAP ECC Functional knowledge (FI, OTC, WHM etc.) is a must.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA or BW/4HANA is preferred.
• Defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementation.
• Experienced in using Performance Tuning techniques, system optimization, and business process improvement.
• Work in aggressive delivery model in agile mode.
• Experience working with external service providers desired.
• Should be able to manage a team, possess good team lead skills.
• Should have excellent communication skills.• Should have the ability to handle client escalation.
• Should have good analytical skills.
