Role Description:            

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the development of end to end Citrix system architectures and designs to support emerging business needs

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy Citrix virtualization technologies for approximately 10,000 users

• Act as the technical expert for Citrix integration projects

• Work with customers to determine their functional needs, translating customer needs into hardware/software requirements for existing or new hardware/software applications

• Improves and automates tasks associated with building, configuring, patching, and upgrading core infrastructure platforms, hardware, and software

• Provide Tier III support to deployed systems

• Participate in functional or user acceptance testing to ensure final products meets the customers needs

• Conduct technical exchange meetings and mentor other engineers

• Create test plans, installation guides, technical specifications, and white papers as required

• Lead in the review and research of new technologies in response to project requirements and business needs

• Develop implementation and support plans through migration from POC / lab through test and ultimately to production environments

• Monitor and recognize constraints of specific infrastructure architectures and provide alternate scalable solutions in order to meet business and project requirements QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience

• Five or more years of current Citrix architecture/engineering experience leveraging tools such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.x, Citrix Provisioning Services 5.6+, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Netscaler 10.x, 11.x, 12.x and VMware vSphere 5.x, 6.x

• Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016+

• Experience in process/administration automation including scripting with PowerShell

• Citrix certifications preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science preferred Desired Experience

• AD Domain & Group Policy

• Azure Virtual Desktops

• FSlogix profile Management

Competencies: Digital : Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, VMware vSphere

Experience (Years):        8-10
