Required Mainframe IBM IDAA-REMOTE

Position: Mainframe - IBM Data Analytic Accelerator (IDAA) 
Location:-  Remote 

 

Note :- Need hands on experience with IDAA and or actual install experience of the product.  

Skills Required –  

·    Installation of IDAA code   

·    Installation of Rocket Loader code 

·    Knowledge of IDAA administrative activity 

·    Pairing/impairing an accelerator 

·    Setting up replication  

·    Adding/removing, altering keys, disabling/enabling acceleration, disabling/enabling replications, gathering stats for tables 

·    Setting up federation 

·    Knowledge of the difference between tables, shadow table, accelerator only tables, and reference tables 

·    Understanding of when queries should be accelerated 

·    Knowledge about and when to use the difference set acceleration options 

·    Understanding of the different options to copy data to the accelerators (native loads, loader, and replication) 

·    JCL  

·    Db2 Loads 

·    REXX 

·    Trouble shooting errors 

·    Data Studio (experience with IDAA and loader plugins) 

 
Skills nice to have -

·    SQL  

·    DDL  

·    Setting up Federation 

·    Handling errors 

Be able to write/trouble shoot JCL, REXX and support Db2 objects that support the environment.
