Role: Sr. Java Backend Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA and Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Must have WES and WCS manufacturing and material handling systems experience
Description:
We are seeking experienced Java Backend Developers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WCS & WES manufacturing and material handling hardware systems. This is an on-prem software that runs on the hardware.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a developer using Java, Angular, SQL, or similar tech stack.
· Expertise in writing and maintaining SQL queries (JDBC / iBatis / Stored Procedures).
· Experience in API design for client-server applications.
· Proactive study of industry best practices and security strategies.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience considered).
Preferred:
· Experience with Spring boot.
· Experience developing resilient Spring-based Microservices.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and customize our current Warehouse Execution/Control System (WES/WCS) software product for new and existing clients.
· Participate in the development of new industry-leading products.
· Work directly with customers to gather, analyze, and create functional requirements.
· Integrate customizations into the current software base.
· Participate in the architectural direction and evolution of software technology.
· Communicate productively with teammates and stakeholders.
· Become an expert in materials handling automation technologies and the warehouse of the future.
Additional Information:
· The interview process will be challenging, and candidates will be screened carefully.
· The manager will ask candidates if they have seen their recruiter (be sure to video with the candidate).
· The client will not allow earpieces or machines/keyboards during the interview.
· All candidates will be on TEAMS VIDEO (no exception).
· If you have a minimum of 2 years of MH (material handling) experience, you must be onsite for 3 days and remote for 2 days in the Cincinnati, OH, or Atlanta, GA locations.
· We will consider candidates for 100% remote work if:
o You do not live in Cincinnati or Atlanta.
o You have 4+ years of experience in WES and WCS manufacturing and material handling systems.
