Job Title: Sr. Linux Administrator
Duration: 6-12 month contract, potential for extension
Visa: All
Schedule : Hybrid: MUST be onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Location: Westerville, OH (Locals only)

Red Hat Satellite experience is A MUST.
Need locals only

Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS
· Manage Red Hat Satellite infrastructure for managing software updates and patches
· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support
· Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl
· Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM
· Configure and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and Samba
· Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with other systems and applications
· Ensure system security and compliance with company policies and industry standards, including implementing security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access control systems
· Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
· Manage software licensing and compliance for Linux-based software

Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of experience in Linux system administration
· Strong experience in Red Hat Linux administration and Red Hat Satellite management
· Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl
· Strong understanding of Linux security and compliance standards
· Strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM
· Experience with network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and Samba
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
