Role: Java Lead with production support

Location : Utha, US (Candidate must be a native of Utah.)

 

Responsibilities for java production support

                       Addressing live production issues, identifying application data issues, and documenting the root cause for resolutions

                       Provide production support to resolve complex issues and recommend solutions to ensure the continued operation of Specialty applications.

                       Work on complex phases and/or projects/initiatives, maintaining responsibility for technical quality and work-ability of solutions ensuring there is no down time within applications and all application bugs are resolved in

                       Performance performance tuning of applications

                       Participate in root causes analysis for service failure and provide resolution.

                       Provides senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases for client/server-, Web-, and/or PC-based software or middleware

                       Translates technical specifications, and/or logical and physical design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal clients

                       Is highly functional on large, matrixed project teams

                       Provide technical support for our in-house application to triage, resolve, and conduct RCA on Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents

                       Interpret technical designs for implementations, or review those created by team members, to deduce why production issues may be occurring

                       For issues that require coding changes, develop and oversee technical development that is in line with our established architecture, technical designs, and development standards

                       Act as the primary prod support technical contact for our application end users

                       Understand the overall product roadmap as articulated by agile coach/product owner and translate roadmap into team specific release planning and sprint planning

 

Desired experience:

                       Candidate would be familiar with JAVA, .NET IIS, Websphere,Garfana, docker,kubernet,datadog from a production support perspective

                       Candidate would possess strong skills in application monitoring and performance monitoring through AppDynamics or an equivalent tool

                       Knowledge of building scalable apps using techniques like multithreading, SOA

                       Monitoring (Server logs, batch jobs)

                       Research items - Business user queries

                       Application Maintenance & Small enhancements

 

Primary Skill :

                       Bachelor's Degree 2 to 7 years of Java and WebSphere experience

                       Programming Language: Java and Python

                       Strong Knowledge of HTML,CSS,Javascript,JQuery,XML

                       Scripting: PowerShell ,Perl or shell

                       Hands on experience in J2EE/Webservices Tech (EJB,Servlets,JDBC,JSP),SOA architecture ,SPRING or hibernate work.

                       Database:Sybase/DB2/SQL server

                       Service Management Tools experience (like HPSM, BSM, HP Perf Mgr )
