Sr Database Engineer

Position: Sr Database Engineer / Sr SQL Developer only for W2 Location: Des Plains, IL (Hybrid) or Remote Duration: 12 Months Rate: $45/hr. in w2   Mandatory / Key skills : Very strong problem-solving skills experience 4+ years of experience with SQL development 2+ years of T-SQL development 2+ years of experience with tuning and optimizing database performance     ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Manage to a timeline and communicate to IT and PMO when project scope or timelines change or additional resources are needed Work with project stakeholders to identify and develop requirements Design, develop, and implement complex database applications using Stored Procedures, User-Defined functions, views, etc. Identify and resolve performance issues with database code Develop database applications using industry-standard security measures Commitment toward continuous improvement of database development practices Assist production support with operational issues including occasional on-call duties Write, maintain, and review functional and technical specifications Create scripts for data integration, data maintenance, and automation   ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 4+ years of experience with SQL development 2+ years of T-SQL development 2+ years of experience with tuning and optimizing database performance A passion for database code development Very strong problem-solving skills and communication   Don't want any more emails?
