Job Title: Okta Engineer Location : Dallas TX Hybrid 10+ Years of Experience is required. Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities: • Okta Experience: Comprehensive understanding of Okta's services and features, including but not limited to: • Okta Universal Directory • Okta Lifecycle Management • Okta Adaptive Multi-factor Authentication • Okta API Access Management • Protocols & Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with SSO protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth. • Integration Skills: Experience in integrating Okta with various types of applications (SaaS, on-prem, mobile), as well as directories (like Active Directory and LDAP). • API Skills: Ability to leverage Okta APIs for custom integrations and solutions. • Security: Strong understanding of security best practices, particularly as they relate to IAM and SSO. Qualifications: • Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot Okta related issues, whether they be with user access, integrations, or other technical issues. • Documentation: Skills in creating and maintaining documentation regarding Okta configurations, integrations, and best practices. • Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work closely with other teams (e.g., IT, security, development). • Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in projects related to IAM, especially those involving Okta rollouts or integrations. Preferred qualifications: • Certifications: Okta certifications such as Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator can be a big plus. • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team, understanding team dynamics and contributing positively. • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure. • Change Management: Familiarity with change management Process. ITIL Certification a bonus. • Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell. This helps in automating tasks and integrating custom solutions.
