Job Description: The SAP Business Analyst - GL role entails proactive identification, design, and support of business solutions to enhance efficiency in processes, aid corporate growth, and ensure accurate financial reporting. A background in P&C insurance is essential. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements across finance functions for a new SAP GL deployment aligned with IFRS 17 and US GAAP standards. Acting as the main point of contact for SAP development and testing, the analyst supervises implementation and organizes efficient user acceptance testing (UAT). Leading the migration from SAP ECC GL to SAP S/4 HANA, the role also demands technical expertise in SAP financial applications, particularly in the insurance sector. Effective communication, adaptability, and strong organizational skills are vital, as is the ability to manage diverse workloads and priorities. The role calls for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a Master's or MBA being highly advantageous.
