AMQ is the open-source version of MQ.
- 6 or more years ex.
- WebSphere MQ and related product engineering, administration, and support on multiple operating platforms. This includes developing and engineering MQ product solutions for business and application needs.
- Sound knowledge of WebSphere MQ and related messaging technologies such as WebSphere Message Broker and Crossworlds.
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Working experience with WebSphere MQ on multiple operating systems: Windows, AIX, Solaris, AS/400, zLinux, zOS.
- Experience with product installation, design infrastructure, administration, and troubleshooting product problems with customer/vendors.
- Experience with MQSeries Clustering and distributed queuing.
- MQSeries Certifications and/or MQSeries Specialist and/or MQSeries Solutions Expert would be a plus.
- SMP/E knowledge is a plus.
- Working experience with the installation and support of WebSphere Message Broker on AIX desired.
