Data/Business Analyst & Scrum Master : Stamford, CT ( onsite role) Need 10+ experience consultant who is scrum or Agile certified consultant - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data-related requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Analyze and define data requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives and contribute to decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and user stories for development teams.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to design and implement data solutions that meet business needs.
- Identify data sources, assess data quality, and recommend data integration and transformation strategies.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of data-driven projects.
- Participate in data mapping and data lineage activities to ensure accurate data flow across systems.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate data requirements from various stakeholders.
- Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and process documentation.
- Provide guidance to business teams on data-related best practices, tools, and capabilities.
- Assist in user acceptance testing to ensure data solutions meet business expectations.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in data analysis and technology to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify relevant insights.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data privacy regulations.
- Facilitate Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Shield the team from external distractions and impediments, ensuring a focused and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the product owner to manage the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined and prioritized.
- Help the team understand and implement Agile practices, including self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Identify and address any issues that may hinder the team's progress or effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.
- Measure and report team metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the team's Agile practices and processes.
- Stay updated on Agile trends and practices, bringing new insights to the team.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, guiding teams in Agile practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate challenges in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA or Trello.
