Roles & Responsibilities

• Active participation in technical Solution Design workshops.
• Approval of technical Designs and Validation of the delivered programming code.
• Validation of Test concept/scenarios related to developments.
• Leveraged as the BY WMS technical expert for implementation projects.
• Key technical resource in an implementation.
• To translate business requirements to technical designs.
• Can demonstrate and facilitate Design, Develop, and Integration Discussions of product functionality and product architecture (i.e., Show data and process flow from one BY solution to another) for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
• Interacts with Business, Service Delivery, and Service Providers in decision-making processes regarding technical solutions.
• Convert business requirements into technical terms for the development team, perform detailed design, obtain design acceptance from business stakeholders and reviewers, and develop detailed designs including functional specifications.
• Conducts/leads business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project

 

Desired Skills & Experience

•         Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Logistics.

•         5+ years in BY Warehouse Management System solution (Discrete) - formerly known as red prairie or BY

•         Should have strong technical skills in BY WMS solutions.

•         Extensive experience in constructing an overall technical architecture for current and future business needs.

•         Min 2018 version of BY WMS experience.

•         Strong expertise in MOCA Components, MTF, DDA/Page builder, Reports, and labels

•         Strong experience in integration of BY WMS with a variety of host and destination systems using BY

·         Integrator/Connect.

•         Experience in developing, modifying interfaces, tracing, and troubleshooting.

•         Experience with support tools, Project management, and global SharePoint.

•         Knowledge of integration techniques using middleware like BY connect, MuleSoft, TIBCO

•         Experience working in fast-paced dynamic environments including multiple vendors

•         Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

•         Must exude a positive, can-do attitude and an inclination for process improvements.
