Location: Remote (MST Time Zone) 5% - 10% Travel Required 
How you will make a difference
The Senior Azure Engineer will assist our client in transforming their organization and accelerate mission execution through emerging and disruptive technologies, innovative business models, retooled program operations and industry-driven solutions.
•    Candidates will be required to wear multiple hats, must be highly motivated, quality conscious with a strong attention to detail and exhibit a history of achievement in their career to date.
•    Must possess a solid understanding of a broad range of Azure technologies including implementing highly secure solutions. Among desired technology skills are Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor/Alerts, Azure Synapse Pipelines and Azure Arc.
•    Understand scalability and performance in terms of systems, services, and infrastructure architecture.
•    Must be able to recommend best -in- class solution architecture identifying functional as well non-functional parameters.
•    Ability to identify potential challenges
•    Demonstrates technical excellence, wide-range of technical knowledge, good communication skills (written and oral), resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, and ability to quickly and effectively absorb and use new technology skills.
•    Responsible for proactively keeping up with and recommending technology opportunities that will contribute to the company's success.
What you bring to your new team
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or STEM degree, Master's Degree Preferred
•    7+ years of experience with Information Technology
•    Hand -on Experience supporting Cloud Integration – A Must
•    Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture Design
•    Experience with Cloud Management and Governance
•    Working experience architecting, designing, building solutions on Azure
•    Strong experience in Azure platform Services, understanding of their capabilities and limitations
•    Proficient in data architectures, and experience creating, maintain and manage Azure Synapse pipelines
•    Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform and leverage Azure DevOps to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
•    Proficient with Azure DevOps to perform projects, source code management
•    Expertise in cloud governance practices via Azure policy, Azure Arc, and monitoring/logging services
•    Deploy, administer, support, and maintain Kubernetes containers on Azure
•    Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
•    Review and update, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
•    Enthusiastic learner with the ability to keep up to date on ever evolving Azure cloud services.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with client and team.
•    Strong communication skills, able to sustain conversations with business stakeholders, application and infrastructure architects and developers
•    Should be able to draw and document the designs
•    Experience working with Agile teams (Scrum methodology)
