Role: AWS Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Technical Expertise:
- Private Infrastructure and Networking technologies in Enterprise datacenters
- VMware, Openstack, Cisco NXOS/IOS, Cisco Firewalls
- Public cloud provider technologies in AWS and Google Cloud
- Securing applications in public cloud and common public cloud pitfalls
- Experience with network segmentation products like firewalls, security groups, Cisco ACI, VLANs, VXLANS
- Experience with CI/CD and configuration management tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Application security scanning experience like SAST and DAST
- Understanding of applying security to cloud native applications in private and public cloud
- Software development code security scanning and analytics
- Vulnerability scanning and analytics of infrastructure using tools like Qualys or Tenable
- Establish security standard operating procedures
- Ability to create and document security architecture designs
- You have an applied knowledge of Agile, DevOps and CI/CD processes, and relevant experience
- Python, Go, or similar programming experience.
Non-Technical Requirements:
· CCSP, CISSP, CCIE or cyber security related certifications is a plus.
· Work on geographically distributed teams
· Understand IT processes, including architecture, design, implementation, and operations
· Self-motivated, able and willing to help where help is needed
· Ability to collaborate with many teams and coordinate delivery of security policy and tools
· Able to build relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment, have learning agility
· Typically requires BS/BA and 10 yrs of relevant experience.
