Job Description :

 

A quant developer with 5-7 years of financial industry experience.

The focus is more on the risk and valuation model implementation of bonds and bond products. Examples are corporate bonds, TRS on convertibles.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the quantitative risk team implementing and working with complex products across all aspects risk analytics, trading and machine learning.
  • Contribute to process automation through the understanding of risk processes, procedures and methods and the creative use of machine learning in python.
  • Partner closely with technology teams to ensure appropriate standards of development.
  • Collaborate with Risk Managers and Front Office trades/quants to develop risk related tools and applications.

Qualifications:

  • Advance python knowledge with at least 5 years of experience and exposure to agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Market and counterparty risk as well as back testing
  • Strong Python experience in a development facility like Beacon, Athena or Quartz
  • Cloud-base (such as AWS) application development is a must
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. In-depth financial markets product knowledge
  • A deep passion for technology, software development, and mathematics with strong problem solving skills
  • Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, data science and pipeline automation is a plus
  • Team player with exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Numerix and/or Bloomberg a plus.
