This is a senior level business analyst professional position that provides technical and business analysis both internally and externally to Department of Revenue (DOR) for a major system area or program area as assigned.

- Collaborate with tech leads and business users to create data mapping and data elements document in MS Excel

Knowledges, Skills and Abilities:
1. Broad business and technical knowledge of assigned business area portfolio business/transaction processes and applications at DOR.
2. Broad knowledge of implementation of business processes in assigned applications.
3. Software Business, Technical Requirements Gathering, Definition and Management Skills: ability to understand business and technology requirements. Ability to understand, analyze and transform business/customer requirements into system specifications, and to develop associated workflow and test procedures.
4. Knowledge of industry standard frameworks, tools, and software packages used for software business and Technical Requirements gathering, definition and maintenance.
5. Process Improvement Knowledge Capabilities: Ability to recognize how and when to improve a process and to recommend, negotiate, and implement change. Ability to understand and apply the use of technology to improve business processes.
6. Planning and organization/Project Management Skills. Able to coordinate many different project tasks (determines relative importance of each; prioritizes and plans work activities; sets appropriate deadlines to complete activities accordingly); effectively manages time and resources; sets goals and objectives.
