UST is looking for someone who is agile and be ready to work in a fast-paced business-focused environment. Will be responsible for working with technical teams across multiple geographies for helping to set up a new store or troubleshooting it. This position will• require technical skills and be able to follow and execute a step-by-step IT playbook• be an independent contributor role and be able to work on a fast phase, multi-vendor, multi-geographical environment• be flexible with working hours and may require working off hours based on production issues or criticality of tasks• Requirement o Experience in end-to-end store setup - Windows, Unix/Linuso Knowledge in TCP/IP fundamentals and basic networking protocolso Experience Level 2 support/escalation handlingo Automate and perform installation, configuration and upgrades of POS applications, tools and workstationso Configure hardware peripherals to function with POS applications and main terminal.o Setting with up of back office for retail solutiono Expertise in change control, release deployment and L2 support activitieso Client Handling and addressing operational calls with field support teamo Working with 3rd party connectivity with POS machineso Coordination with development and Release management teamo Setting up proactive monitoring and hardware health checko Good to have Knowledge in setting virtual machineso Good to scripting skills to minimize efforts on requirement changeso Work with network team on service issue that affecting POS terminalso Knowledge on Retail POS System, Self-checkout,NOTE:a. REMOTE work is not preferred but can be considered for right candidates but should be open for periodic business travelb. This is an independent contributor role from day.1c. Resource should be able to work on a multi-vendor, distributed work environment efficiently.d. A bachelor's degree or similar is highly recommended.
