This position will be focused on the creation of plans and the execution of when to move data to the cloud. The candidate must have on-prem to azure migration experience, know terraform, Kubernetes, ansible and some GIT products. They are looking to hire quickly!
Must be able to demonstrate hand's on engineering and architectural best practices. Specific to IaC/Automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, some GitLab/CI
Create & Execute plans on how and when to officially "move” to the cloud.
Work w/architects & engineers to enable the adoption of Cloud services.
Depth of skill in Automation Engineering, IaC, Azure is probably better than breadth.
Be the liason between the business and development teams to focus on the the analysis, design, testing, deployment & support of the transition to Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with technology engineers and support teams to implement technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.
- Responsibilities include infrastructure research and development of new or expanded systems, implementation of technology standards and policies, analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, unit test and system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Interact with business partners of varying associate and engineering levels to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
- Coordinate vendor interactions and/or vendor resources as needed.
- Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies on a continuous basis.
- Follow and promote use of industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of Bank applications, systems, development environments.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services used by the Bank.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the bank brand.
- Maintain Company internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- On-call and other related duties as assigned.
