Roles and responsibilities:
- Understanding the business requirements, defining the data model, designing the dashboards and reports, and ensuring that the architecture is scalable and maintainable.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Tableau dashboards.
- Must have strong SQL querying skills and programming knowledge to deal with data transformations and translations.
- Designing the semantic Layer /building data marts and strong knowledge of database management in writing complex SQL queries, Stored procedures, database tuning, query optimization and resolving key performance issues.
- Creating and maintaining data models and data architecture that support business requirements and enable data-driven decision making.
- Responsible for managing data sources, including integrating, transforming, and cleansing data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Establishing and enforcing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Responsible for optimizing data queries in snowflake and dashboard performance to ensure optimal user experience and efficiency.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and other team members to understand business requirements, define data requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provides training and support to end-users, including creating documentation, conducting training sessions, and answering questions.
- Extracting data from different sources connecting them and used the same to create dashboards.
- Proficient with Oracle, SQL Server, and multiple data sources.
- Sound knowledge in creating and executing SQL scripts for logics implementation.
- Managed, updated, and manipulated report orientation and structures with the use of advanced Excel functions Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
- Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
- Interacted with IT and Business Team at various levels and coordinated meetings during the different cycles of the project.
- Excellent academic background and good communication skills and capable of adapting to working on new systems, technologies, and new environment easily.
- Experience capturing and translating Business Requirements into technical solutions.
