Title: Mainframe Architect

Location: Charlotte/Dallas/Fremont

 

Job Description

  • Good knowledge on COBOL, VSAM, JCL, CICS. 
  • Good knowledge on IMS, DB2 database concepts and usage.
  • Strong knowledge in implementing DEVOPS in Mainframe using the full range of suite of tools associated with implementing Mainframe DevOps and CI and CD using the IBM Suite of DevOps tools
  • Strong knowledge on IBM Mainframe DevOps tools suite such as ISPW, IDz, IBM Urban Code, IBM Dependency based Build (IBM DBB), GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, IBM ADDI, SonarQube, Sonarlint.
  • Moderate to good knowledge on CICS and implementing CICS Web Services (SOAP Webservices)
  • Moderate to good Knowledge and familiarity with Hogan Banking Application has taken training on Hogan Banking Software
  • Familiarity with CICS Transaction Gateway and enabling Mainframe backend code with Java Frontend is moderate (not much familiarity)
  • Familiarity and exposure with Modernizing and Rearchitecting Mainframe applications in modern technology stack (New age Java JEE technology stack) is less, has not been involved in rearchitecting and modernizing Mainframe Application to Java / JEE tech stack and deploying on Cloud.
