Location: Onsite Day One – Washington, DC (2 days a week, hybrid model), Also open for initial remote for 3 months

About the position
We are looking for a qualified Application Developer to design and code functional programs and applications. You will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision.
What you'll do
-
Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.

Work with Appian object types, query rules, constant rules and expression rules
-
Guide Appian developers within a delivery team ensuring proper implementations of best designs, testing and deployment practices are followed.

Participate in analysis, design, and development of Appian based applications
-
Perform impact analysis, and performance management.
-
Design SQL queries for accessing data present in DB tables and views
-
Analyze, design and develop, process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, queries, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services and web services
-
Design technical solutions and lead a small team in development activities.
-
Lead projects and run workshops to break down epics into stories.

Work with developers and architects to ensure the build meets business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Appian platform.

Develop and modularize individual components for reusability.

Knowledge in developing different types of records and reports

Should be able to implement best practices in designing and developing Process Model
Expertise you'll bring
-
5+ years of total experience with 2+ years of experience in implementing BPM solutions using Appian 19.x or higher
-
Minimum 1yrs of experience in Appian
-
Exp in implementing IT solutions using BPM or integration technologies
-
Good understanding of database concepts & strong working knowledge on any one of the major databases
-
Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation
-
Possess the certifications: Appian Associate Developer.
-
Proven work experience in Appian 18+ Versions.
-
Knowledge of Cucumber, Java, and SQL
-
Experience in Views, stored procedures in DB, HTML in Appian
-
Hands-on experience in developing Appian Plugins
-
Experience with Agile or SCRUM development methodology
